About the Role

We are looking for someone at the beginning of their career. This is a unique opportunity for you if you are a fresh graduate and want to develop in an environment where experienced expertise is readily available. The team is eager to expand and views it positively to bring in junior electrical power designers who can start now, before, or after the summer. We are looking for you who want to take the step into the world of electrical power and develop in a high-tech environment where generators, switchgear, frequency converters, motors, and auxiliary equipment form the core of our projects. You will become part of the Electrical System team with responsibility for generators and generator protection. Here you will work closely with both electrical power designers, mechanical designers, and project managers to ensure that the gas turbine systems have the right conditions to deliver top performance. The work is project-based, where you are part of a group of six electrical engineers, who in turn are part of a larger department of approximately 20 people. A project usually spans 14 months, giving you time to follow the entire chain – from design and ordering to installation, commissioning, and handover to after-sales. You work based on established templates and processes, but with great scope for customer adaptation and technical responsibility. In the role, you will among other things:

  • Design and order equipment within the electrical power field
  • Work in Comos (similar to EPLAN) to draw and build up circuit diagrams
  • Create electrical documentation and construction documentation for procurement, installation, and assembly
  • Adapt solutions to customer needs
  • Deliver complete circuit diagrams in a project format
  • Provide technical support after commissioning until after-sales takes over

We see you as a person with strong self-leadership, collaborative, and communicative, who thrives in a project environment and wants to grow into the role with the support of experienced colleagues. We are looking for someone who is…

  • Fresh graduate Civil Engineer or University College Engineer in electrical power/electrical engineering
  • Alternatively: many years of relevant work experience combined with a University College degree (YH) in electrical power
  • English proficiency in speech and writing

Note: A pure electrical engineering education (e.g., LIU electrical) needs to be supplemented with courses in electrical power to be relevant. Meritorious

  • Experience with EPLAN
